The Rooftop Bar of the Peninsula Paris Hotel
Description
Parisian chic
Conveniently located at 19 Avenue Kléber, running parallel to the Champs-Élysées, The Peninsula is in the very heart of Paris, just a stone’s throw from the Arc de triomphe, in a luxurious district surrounded by museums and luxury shops. This world-renowned 5-star hotel also has a rooftop that welcomes both visitors and Parisians every evening.
Perched on the sixth and top floor of the hotel, with a panoramic view of the most famous monuments in Paris, a peaceful atmosphere prevails at Le Rooftop, from where you can admire the lights and life of Paris.
The enchantment of a Parisian rooftop
Throughout the summer, Le Rooftop is adorned with a multitude of old roses to create a cheerful and poetic setting with intoxicating scents. And to make the experience totally unique, discover the outstanding rosé wines from Château d’Esclans. These can be enjoyed well chilled throughout the day!
The Head Bartender Ivo Correia Rocha and his team propose a selection of refreshing and creative cocktails. “L’agrume” (the Citrus) is inspired by lemongrass from the vegetable garden with a base of infused tequila and a hint of Limoncello cut with citrus juice and bitters, while the “Therese” will enchant you with its Amaro Montenegro, cognac, vanilla syrup, passion fruit and Champagne, not forgetting the “Bingo Fuel” which takes you on a sensory voyage of discovery with flavours of Kombucha, suze, Antica Formula, Peter Heering cherry and Japanese Umami bitters.
On the food side, to accompany these delicate cocktails, the two- starred chef David Bizet and his team invite you to join them every evening from 6pm to 10:30pm. To delight the establishment’s guests, a summer menu is available, taking in the form of small dishes for sharing, giving pride of place to seasonal products and marking the return of the sunny weather in the City of Light in the most mouth-watering way imaginable. Guests can enjoy a delicious vegetable menu, with the carpaccio of courgette with honey from the Peninsula’s beehives, Pugliese burrata with black garlic and basil oil, and a marinade of grilled vegetables with rosemary from the garden.
The cocktails and dishes are further enhanced with products from the beehives and the vegetable garden housed on the hotel’s roof. Aromatic herbs and edible flowers from this vegetable garden bring an added flavourful touch to the Chefs’ creations. Discover perfection in every detail!
