So you’re in Paris Region, burdened with your luggage. The problem is that it’s too early to check into your accommodation. Or, you’ve left your hotel but have a few hours left before travelling home. We have a number of possible solutions for places to leave your bags. Left luggage facilities can be found at stations, museums and elsewhere, and there’s even a luggage check-in and forwarding service. Here are our suggestions for peace of mind without your luggage in Paris Region.

What are our luggage-handling options in Paris Region?

Left luggage in Paris Region

Did you know that there are more than 500 safe places to leave your luggage in Paris Region? Including **170 left-luggage facilities in Paris itself. Available 247 in many cases, they offer a solution for getting rid of your bags pending your return trip or while visiting the surrounding area. Be it for a few hours, a whole day or even a week, you’ll find a convenient solution to keep your personal belongings safe.

In the railway stations of Île-de-France

The region’s main train stations have automatic left-luggage lockers where you can leave your bags for a few hours. Be aware, however, that their opening hours and prices vary. There are also stations in Île-de-France that have no left-luggage facilities. But even then, there may well be a left-luggage service in the vicinity.

Make sure you always have some change on you, but also a bank card as some left-luggage facilities accept only card payments or only cash.

  • Stations with automatic left-luggage facilities: Gare du Nord; Paris Est Station; Paris Austerlitz Station; Gare de Lyon; Montparnasse Station; Marne-la-Vallée Chessy.
  • Stations without left-luggage facilities: Charles de Gaulle 2 Airport TGV Station; Massy Palaiseau Station, Massy TGV Station; Paris Bercy Bourgogne - Pays d’Auvergne Station; Paris Saint-Lazare Station.

Left-luggage facilities elsewhere

Besides the stations, other strategic sites in Paris Region have left-luggage facilities where you can leave your bags while sightseeing, shopping or a day out at Disneyland.

  • Museums: certain museums, including the Louvre and the Orsay Museum, have left-luggage facilities for small and medium-sized bags. We recommend, however, that you check their restrictions relating to the size of the bags to be left.
  • Shopping centres such as the Carrousel du Louvre offer practical solutions for those wishing to go window shopping without cumbersome bags…
  • Theme parks: Disneyland® Paris, for example, has a left-luggage service that allows you to have fun in the company of Mickey Mouse without worrying about your personal belongings.
