Description

Just a stone’s throw from Louis XIV’s palace, one of the young princes of the French food scene, Jean-Baptiste Lavergne-Morazzani, is the man at the helm. In 2016, aged just 24, he was awarded a Michelin star for his gourmet restaurant La Table du 11.

And because if you’re good enough, you’re old enough, the young chef has since established a veritable dynasty, opening a deliciously indulgent wine cellar and deli, as well as Le Bistrot du 11, a great place to savour his culinary expertise while keeping a lid on your spending.

Black pudding, gribiche and Treviso sauce; scallops, spinach and citron; duckling, carrot and Mimolette cheese; etc.: each dish contains no more than three ingredients, their flavours combining to form highly sophisticated blends. The art of simplicity in all its glory… And the décor – which mixes golden stone, light wood, bare concrete and electric royal blue paint – is hardly lacking in panache either!
