Description
At Conflans-Sainte-Honorine, moored by the banks of the Seine, Le Bateau Chocolaté is a 1960s Freycinet barge converted into a restaurant boat. With its warm and friendly atmosphere and its tasty exotic flavours, it is the perfect spot to come and relax, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Whether you come for a light lunch, a family meal or to taste the delicious spicy hot chocolate, you’ll find the perfect peaceful and friendly ambience.
Le Bateau Chocolaté celebrates the Caribbean – first, on its menus with an innovative selection of fusion dishes making the most of fresh and exotic produce, but also with activities and events offering an easy introduction to overseas culture. Take, for example, the morning or evening sessions showcasing West Indian artists, the story-telling sessions for children or the cross-cultural or cross-generational gatherings.
A venue that is a theme restaurant, tearoom and gourmet boutique all at once. Anyone for seconds?
and take the opportunity to discover the inland waterway museum next door.
