Description

This little bakery has all the ingredients for utter contentment. An all-butter croissant, a custard tart, a piece of galette…the choice is yours. Simplicity is everything, and excellent quality and flavour are always on the menu.

As the Christmas holidays come to an end, a dash to La Campagnarde is in order: this is home to the best galettes in the region, which even won an award from the Greater Paris Union of Bakers and Pastry Chefs in 2019 – a wonderful acknowledgement of Carneiro’s hard work. His secret? Good butter, good marzipan, lots of time, and lots of love.

La Campagnarde is a cheery, welcoming place – the perfect pit stop for a delicious lunch or snack!

While you’re there, why not head to La Ferme du Bonheur, next door to Paris Nanterre University, and check out their range of cultural, environmental and social activities, which they run all year round.
