Description

Between a motorway and concrete towers, La Ferme du Bonheur has spent more than 20 years captivating those who come to experience a cultural, festive, tasting and farming adventure. And one that defies all labels.
Spearheading this fantastic, whimsical project is Roger des Prés, a former fixture on the alternative rock scene who has made utopia an art form.
Once over the threshold, cross the ornamental gardens, orchard, vegetable garden and horticultural greenhouse among the freely roaming dogs, goats and sheep.
Centre stage in the courtyard lies the 'favela-theatre' which plays host to shows, feasts and hammams. Just next door, the former fairground dance hall serves as a restaurant and concert hall.
The electro parties organised all year round are internationally renowned. In summer, we enjoy the festival with its theatre, music, film and visual arts line-up.
Every Sunday, amateur farmers flock to Champ de Garde, the urban farming pioneer, to ready the ground, clean up, plant and sow. In the middle of the city! What dreams are made of?
