Jardin d'Acclimatation

Situated on the edge of the bois de Boulogne next to the Fondation Louis Vuitton, the Jardin d’Acclimatation is the oldest recreational park in France. It was inaugurated over 160 years ago by Napoléon III and Empress Eugénie and, with its 18 hectares of gardens and attractions, has been a favourite destination for families for many years.

France's first theme park

There is a real funfair with 42 attractions and a 1900s steampunk vibe evocative of the works of Jules Verne. Must-visit attractions include the speed rockets, the flying chairs and the enchanted river. Then go on a plant hunt or live an out-of-this-world experience at the Rafting Adventure.

The bravest among you will take on "Jurassic Island ’, the garden's new digital attraction. Thanks to the magic of dynamic 3DOF simulators, immerse yourself in an incredible VR adventure among the titans of the Jurassic era. Thrills guaranteed!

A park in the heart of nature

Continue your visit with the great aviary and the educational farm. With 450 animals, it is actually a small zoo, nestled among the park’s pathways. There are goats, rabbits, chickens and birds from all over the world - bring your children for some magical encounters.

For lunch break or snacks, we’ve got you covered: there are 12 eateries so you’re sure to find something to your taste! When you’re done, the famous little train will drop you off at Porte Maillot. And then there’ll be only one question on your children’s lips: “When are we coming back?”
