Description
Located on the 9th and top floor of the Institut du monde arabe, enjoy the panoramic Dar Mima restaurant. Ziryad has given way to a warm décor with warm colours and comfortable materials, infused with Arabian hospitality and designed by the architect Laura Gonzalez as a true oriental paradise. An invitation to travel without leaving Paris!
This exceptional restaurant, a dream of the Orient between heaven and earth, was conceived and created by Laurent de Gourcuff of Paris Society (already head of Girafe, Gigi, Monsieur Bleu…) and the artist Jamel Debbouze, who pays tribute to his mother Fatima with a generous, gourmet menu in her image.
A spicy menu
In fine weather, make the most of the large terrace overlooking the Seine. Set out like a hanging garden, it offers a breathtaking view of the Notre-Dame de Paris Cathedral and the rooftops of Paris. An address high up in the sky, where you can enjoy cuisine with flavours from the Arab world.
Fatima shares her dishes inspired by North African and Oriental cuisine, with favourites such as Zaalouk with aubergines and tomatoes, for fans of Moroccan salads, houmous to share, chicken pastilla, tajine and the irresistible couscous.
Mint tea goes down a treat, as does a card of spicy cocktails. Finally, when night falls, Dar Mima becomes more festive with an oriental atmosphere and live music 3 or 4 nights a week. Don't forget to book in advance to enjoy these festive evenings.
