Description
The Nouvelle Garde Group is proud to unveil its brand new Parisian brasserie
Following hard on the heels of the Brasserie Bellanger and the Brasserie Dubillot, it's now time for the Brasserie Martin in the 11th arrondissement to take its place in the limelight, not far from the pretty Square Gardette and the Atelier des Lumières. The Brasserie Martin is an impressive neighbourhood watering hole which pursues the same goal as its predecessors, namely to fervently defend the inimitable French art of living.
Home-made meals
The appetizing menu is prepared by three young chefs: Thibaut Darteyre, Baptiste Zwygart and Antoine Castel. The emphasis is on taste and local and seasonal products. In order to bring you the best products, the team is in direct contact with about fifty producers from locally and elsewhere, though without ever going too far. Reasoned cooking at very affordable prices!
Home-made and lovingly prepared, the menu respects French gastronomic heritage. Tuck into sausage and mash, Bourbonnais lamb, leek vinaigrette, Salers beef, rillettes, eggs with mayonnaise, not forgetting the famous spit-roasted chicken to be shared around a table with friends or family.
The charcoal oven has been replaced by a mega rotisserie with 4 spits, running full blast from morning to night. A menu guaranteed to delight meat lovers but which never forgets vegetarians!
A typically Parisian décor
The 11th arrondissement of Paris is full of trendy spots and the Nouvelle Garde team has just added an extra one to the list. The leafy green frontage is visible from rue Saint-Maur with its two-tone blinds, its fiery neon lights and a vintage stained glass window featuring a roast chicken, the establishment’s signature dish.
Martin is a reference to Alban Martin, one of the team's friends. At his house, life revolved around the table and a community spirit prevailed, much like at a youth hostel. A spirit which inspired and which is perpetuated by the Brasserie Martin!
Inside, the décor is very much in keeping with the brasserie style codes, including the large, long counter, the mosaics on the floor, the large central glass roof which illuminates the place and the gleaming neon lights which superbly complete the warm and friendly atmosphere. The establishment features items and posters with a kitschy but still very stylish feel to them.
As a bonus, a double terrace with a hundred seats allows you to enjoy the sun from morning to night.
