Description
Do you know anything about Reining? If not, Gregory Morat, the founder of Bo Ranch, will be delighted to explain the basics to you. An entrepreneur and motorsports enthusiast, he transformed the ranch into a space dedicated to his new passion for Reining, after being seduced by this equestrian discipline in 2012. Located near Fontainebleau, the equestrian capital of France, Bo Ranch is a place that brings together the passion for horses and gastronomy all in one place.
In the heart of 6 hectares of nature, between castle and forest, you can enjoy a poultry supreme surrounded by cowboys in chequered shirts and Stetson hats. And maybe even see a horse or two go by through the glass roof… French ranch life.
Once upon a time in the East
The ranch restaurant is located in the Club House and under the magnificent glass roof. While it offers a place for riders to rest after a day of events or competitions, it is also a warm and convivial setting for you.
Inside, styles are mixed. The glass roof has the feel of a winter garden that opens out in fine weather. As for the Club House, a Western breeze blows through the room. With its wooden walls and bar, leather sofas, subdued lighting and open fire, the only thing missing is a mechanical bull to make you feel like you're in the heart of Texas. Although the restaurant resembles an American bar, the cuisine is entirely French, with a few touches of other countries. The chef's watchword: the season.
Seasonal cuisine
Alexandre Gibert, the chef de cuisine, a passionate native of Achères-la-Forêt, offers a cuisine détendue, made with fresh and seasonal produce, sourced from the best local artisans. The jardin du Bo Ranch plays a key role in this culinary experience, supplying organic vegetables and aromatic herbs directly to your plate.
At the Bo Ranch, cooking is a matter of heart and soil. The menu reflects the ranch's commitment to quality and freshness. Whether it's a relaxing lunch under the glass roof or an elegant dinner in the Club House, you can expect dishes that celebrate the region's gastronomic riches.
From starter to dessert, each dish changes with the seasons and is accompanied by a selection of wines that showcase the expertise of the local winemakers. Comfortable in winter, cool in summer, everything is done to ensure you enjoy a moment out of time. And for those who can't finish without a sweet note, the card des desserts is just as delicious.
With or without children, don't forget to put on your boots and come and live the life of a cowboy for a few hours.
For the digestive walk, head to the forest of Fontainebleau.
