Description

The renewal continues at Printemps Haussmann

The department store has been a trendsetter from its earliest days, and has once again reinvented itself amid a major shift in the world of fashion and lifestyles. And what a successful revival it has been! Following the grand opening of the 7ème Ciel, Printemps Haussmann is opening its new restaurant, so why not come and take a seat on the 6th floor of the Printemps de la Femme?
Under the department store’s main dome, the Art Deco stained-glass windows – with their majestic blue colours – diffuse an intimate and soft light. The decor is very natural, reminiscent of seaside restaurants, with rattan chandeliers and chairs, light wood furniture, numerous potted plants and hints of Magimel blue in its accessory details. It’s the perfect place to chill out amid charming, refined surroundings!

With large bay windows all around, four beautiful terraces are opened up on sunny days; and when the sun is at its peak, the whole space is bathed in light. From breakfast to aperitif time, enjoy a spectacular view over the roofs of Paris and its iconic monuments such as the Opéra Garnier and the Sacré Cœur.

A sunny restaurant in a Parisian department store

The concept: a restaurant that welcomes chefs in residence every 6 months! An idea that allows us to shake up the menu on a regular basis and create a surprise with each new chef.

To kick off the show, the director of Printemps has asked the famous culinary author Elvira Masson to take the helm and create a menu of her own devising. With the help of chef Clément Blondeau, they have created a restaurant menu in perfect keeping with the season. At Elvira and Clément’s establishment, the product is the star, with many influences brought back from the author’s travels – and of course from her native land of Sweden. You can find her favourite family recipes in her best-selling book “Dans ma cuisine”, published by Marabout.

On the menu for your pleasure… leeks in vinaigrette, marinated eggs with soya, green shakshuka, delicious meatballs or fish gravadlax, before ending on a sweet note with pears poached in Bissap or lemon posset.

Authentic tastes for a mouth-watering healthy gourmet break!
