Description
Situated on the edge of the Bois de Boulogne, on a 33-hectare site, Auteuil Racecourse is the only Parisian racecourse dedicated entirely to steeplechasing. All of the nine Group 1 hurdle and steeplechase races that take place on French soil are held here. Enjoy watching the horses and riders jump over the obstacles, one by one.
Since its creation in 1873, the Auteuil Racecourse, designed by landscape architect Michel Pena, has always attracted crowds with its popular, high-spirited atmosphere. Each of the course’s different lawns pays tribute to a different personality, such as Billie Holiday or Henri Sérandour, President of the French National Olympic Committee. Fence, natural obstacle, stream or river, relaxation, agility and dressage, technical skills and experience… show jumping races are a real spectacle, whether you are an enthusiast or a novice!
To complement the experience, you could even enjoy a meal in one of the brasseries or the panoramic restaurant and participate in the organised entertainment with your family. There is also a discovery space that hosts two themed exhibitions per season.
Discover the Auteuil Racecourse through one of the treasure hunts in the Paris Region Adventures application specially designed for families and downloadable free of charge.
