Description

The Tuscan sun shines on the porte d'Auteuil. On fine summer days, and when the grey skies start to set in, drop in at the former Gare d'Auteuil and treat yourself to a ticket to Italy. This beautiful building, just a few minutes from the Roland-Garros stadium, is home to one of the best ristoranti in Paris. For Mediterranean holiday enthusiasts and city dwellers in search of sunshine: Auteuil Brasserie offers the culinary break you've been waiting for. Buon appetito!

A taste of Tuscany just outside Auteuil

With its villa-like appearance, worthy of those on the Italian Riviera, the former Auteuil station is the perfect place to relax and unwind. This heavenly setting is the brainchild of interior designer Laura Gonzalez**, who has already worked on Dar Mima, the restaurant at the Institut du monde arabe.
The tone is set as soon as you enter: immaculate white lime walls, green plants with gigantic leaves overhanging the tables, elegant rattan chairs alongside colourful banquettes.
Each room has its own ambience: large sofas around a fireplace for a cosy atmosphere, a dining room bathed in light, a bar with noble, authentic woodwork. The bohemian chic spirit pervades every corner of this restaurant.

The change of scenery is at its height when you climb the steps leading to the rooftop. Under light-filtering wooden pergolas, this haven of vegetation is a rapture for the senses. Its olive trees, jasmine and orange trees perfume the air in the hot summer hours, and its cocktail bar with its bright yellow and blue tiles will leave you wanting to sip a Spritz at the counter. The rooftop, which can be reserved for private parties, will transform any group event into a festive and convivial occasion, under the shimmering light of the lanterns.

Mamma's cuisine in the heart of Paris

On the plate, discerning palates will not be left out. Both in the kitchen and behind the counter, La Mamma's Tuscan gastronomy is at its best. Start with Italy's favourite ritual, the aperitivo. Over a glass of Negroni concocted by Charlotte, the in-house mixologist, you can savour a generous burrata on a bed of preserved tomatoes, or share a board of cold meats topped with a soft focaccia.

The dishes are not lacking in panache and delicacy either. True to tradition, Auteuil Brasserie offers pasta, pizzas and typical dishes, prepared with products imported directly from the best Italian suppliers. Will you fall for the pizza Auteuil, with its Pugliese burrata, white ham with summer truffles and 22-month matured parmesan? Or will you succumb to their succulent tagliata of beef onglet? To round off this epicurean interlude, opt for a raspberry panna cotta or the traditional amaretto tiramisù. And if you're in the mood to party, you can soak up the Tuscan sweetness late into the night on the terrace, bar or rooftop.
