Description

Located in Colombes, north-west of Paris, the Yves-du-Manoir Olympic Stadium is a major 18-hectare sports complex. A major venue for French sport, football, rugby and athletics, its glory has been perpetuated by more than 200 international meetings.

A historic sports complex

Synonymous for all sports fans as a place of a thousand exploits, the stadium has hosted the Olympic Games of 1924, a Football World Cup final in 1938, 250 international matches in several disciplines, 42 French Football Cup finals, as well as 79 matches for the French national football team and, more recently, around a hundred rugby matches for Racing 92 before the team moved to the Paris La Défense Arena.

Designated to host the hockey competitions at the Paris Olympics in 2024, the Stade Yves-du-Manoir de Colombes is getting a facelift.

Two floodlit synthetic pitches for hockey will be built, along with a permanent 1,000-seat grandstand. Two new buildings are currently under construction, housing administrative offices, changing rooms, meeting rooms, function rooms and two weights rooms.

One hundred years on, the stade Yves-du-Manoir is back in the spotlight!
