Description
Ten minutes away from central Paris by Metro or RER, the Quatre Temps, Europe’s biggest mall, has presided over the La Défense district since 1981. Following major renovation works, the massive 130,000 m2 shopping centre is now split over four levels and draws shoppers in droves, attracted by the range on offer in its 230 boutiques. The bright and airy mall is home to many of the biggest French and international brands. It holds big beauty names like Sephora, Lush, Mac and Kiko while ready-to-wear fashion labels include American Vintage, Claudie Pierlot, Comptoir des Cotonniers, Maje, Lacoste and Uniqlo. Not to mention the multimedia Fnac emporium and a large Apple Store for tech aficionados. Whatever you’re looking for, it’s probably here.
Mixing Life and Leisure
A new generation mall, the Quatre Temps aims to combine shopping and leisure time. On the 3rd floor, “The Dome” is home to 22 restaurants and a 16-screen UGC Ciné Cité multiplex. But that’s not all: the Quatre Temps also offers year-round entertainment with a programme of concerts, cooking presentations with the Michelin-starred chef Thierry Marx and after-work nights on Thursdays, with live music and drinks. Wanting to reach for the sky? The iconic neighbouring Arche de la Défense, reopened its panoramic roof in June 2017.
