Description
Trinquet Village is the place to be for drinks and nibbles, culinary discoveries, blind-test parties and all-night DJ sets. See you on the banks of the Seine!
The Basque way of life in the capital
Trinquet Village is a must-do in the west of Paris. This former Basque pelota court is now a popular meeting place for fans of the South West. Located on the Seine riverbank, this 9,000 m² venue is a great place to unwind. The varied entertainment programme promises pleasant evenings for you and your friends. At Trinquet Village, you can relax in the deckchairs on the terrace lit by fairy lights.
Take the BL!NDT?ST challenge
Liven up your evening by trying the BL!NDT?ST experience, a digital blind test in the heart of the Village. The walls decorated in neon lights and vinyl record sleeves immediately set the tone. Here, you don’t need a game host and anyone can play. An app is provided to keep the score. Based on voice recognition, it calculates the number of points, which depends on how fast you are. The playlists cater for all tastes, ranging from 90s pop to TV series theme music and even Cardi B. Gather a team, choose your level, and get ready for a friendly music challenge.
Food and drink at La Kontxa
The Auberge de La Kontxa is open for meals throughout the summer. La Kontxa takes its name from a bay in San Sebastian in Spain, the Bay of La Concha or, in Basque, Kontxa Badia. The South-West spirit is also present in the menu which includes cockles in white wine, Basque charcuterie and grilled king prawns. The region’s food and wine specialities can be enjoyed on the terrace from Tuesday to Saturday, until 2am. The village also takes you on a culinary tour around the world with its multitude of food trucks that cater for all appetites.
