Description
A professional beekeeping facility and the only producer of royal jelly in Île-de-France, the Miellerie du Gâtinais produces honey certified by the Gâtinais Français Regional Nature Park. The range includes flower, forest, chestnut and acacia honey, as well as fresh pollen, propolis and gingerbread. You can wander around the Miellerie free of charge, or book a guided tour for larger groups.
The honey house offers products to take away, which can be brought to your car in the car park, deliveries subject to conditions, and direct sales in the store. The honey produced here is 100% natural, with no added sugar and no heat treatment above 30°.
Beekeeping is more than a labour of love: it’s a life’s work that owners Thierry and Camille Sergent would love to pass on. Come and learn about plants, bees, and all the other insects that make the biodiversity here so unique!
