Description
Launched in 1994, Thanx God I'm a V.I.P. was a pioneer in the now thriving vintage clothing market.
Resolutely trendy, the brand has also lent its name to highly popular club nights and an online radio station with cutting-edge tastes (www.thanxgodradio.com). In all it does, it aims to embody a “new urban culture and aesthetic”.
You are the star, so take a look around these two adjoining stores with beautifully presented window displays (women on the left, men on the right) to unearth some premium garments. The collections are organised by colour – a veritable rainbow! – and owe much to the keen eye of the founder, Sylvie Chateigner, who has amassed items from a selection of the greatest names in fashion, be they classic or contemporary.
You can find rare pieces like an Azzedine Alaïa jacket, an Yves Saint Laurent tunic, a Prada skirt or a Hermès suit… not to mention highly enticing accessories (shoes, hats, scarves, jewellery, belts, bags, etc.).
