Provins and Provinois Museum
Description
Behind the beautiful stone façade dating from the 12th century and the magnificent "diamond" window of the Roman house, one of the oldest buildings in Provins, discover on four levels, the museum's treasures linked to the history of the city and its surroundings. A collection of unusual and precious objects, from prehistory to the 19th century, through the Renaissance, such as the mask carried by Napoleon during a costume ball, the chasuble that belonged to Saint-Edme, brotherhood sticks from the 16th and 17th centuries and water hydrants from the 13th century.
