Description
In the heart of the city centre, this 1.5 hectare park features a Japanese garden and many small themed gardens: secret garden, scented garden, Renaissance garden and green theatre.
Relax and soak up the scents from all kinds of aromatic plants: sage, mint, thyme, wormwood… Every spring, in honour of Empress Josephine, the rose garden of the Empress is recreated inside the park. This rose garden comprises fifty varieties of roses and is worth a visit to appreciate the central pergola, as well as the flowers.
A statue created by the artist Daniel and unveiled on the occasion of the second Imperial Jubilee in 2014, now stands at the park's entrance. Come and see a triumphant Napoleon Bonaparte.
