Book a table on the middle terrace to enjoy the lovely view. This patio features a long swimming pool and a glass roof, which makes it a great place to admire the elegant Parisian panorama in summer. Between the Austerlitz iron viaduct, the stone bridge a little further away and the banks of the Seine all around, the views are as fabulous as the food.

Time to party or time to eat? The gourmet bistro-style restaurant at OFF Paris Seine serves simple, sophisticated meals. Forget the frills, here you’ll just find noble dishes that follow the seasons, such as pulled lamb-shoulder confit, sautéed king prawns and fried scallops. For dessert, nothing beats great classics like tiramisu or chocolate profiteroles.

At the weekend, embark for an all-you-can-eat brunch. The buffets on either side of the pool are packed with delicious items. The savoury dishes take you on a journey, with Caesar salad, Thai salad, salmon gravlax and pizza topped with Serrano ham. There’s plenty for sweet tooths to choose from too, between pastries, colourful macarons and all sorts of different tarts.
