Description

In the beautiful environment of the Vexin Français, the Musée de l’Outil and its flourishing gardens offer visitors a truly bucolic atmosphere.

From Claude Pigeard’s forge, to the tool collection, to the remains of a Gallo-Roman baths, this multi-faceted museum has plenty to satisfy the curiosity of tourists and walkers, children and grandparents alike.
Lovingly enriched and embellished over the decades by Claude and Françoise Pigeard, the museum and its gardens today provide a wonderful setting for all kinds of cultural events: theatre performances, concerts, dance shows and film screenings; residences for artists or writers, and art and photo expositions.

It also offers workshops, guided tours and activities on themes linked to this magical, restful place.

Each year, the gardens of the Musée de l’Outil host the works of a visual artist from 1 May to 31 October.
