Description

50 years after it was created, the Maison de la Radio is getting a facelift! With its glass and aluminium architecture in the daytime, and its lights at night, the Maison de la Radio is home to all the technical and artistic professions involved in the daily production and broadcasting of hundreds of hours of radio programmes and news.

The Maison de la Radio hosts 7 radio stations with a penchant for live broadcasts and an audience just as passionate as ever. You can book free tickets to a dozen shows each week, including “Le Masque et la Plume”, “Bande originale” and “Coming Up”.

Tours of this exceptional building are organised every Saturday afternoon, which you can enjoy alone or with the family. You can even offer your children a radio workshop. Make sure you book ahead, as these tours and workshops are so fascinating that tickets are sometimes snapped up several weeks in advance!

Unless, that is, you prefer to flick through the full programme of concerts, many of them free, which take a fun and accessible approach to classical and philharmonic music.
