Description
A store in the heart of Paris
The large store on Rue Scribe, with its broad, cocoa-coloured glass frontage, is a bright and airy space that’s perfect for carefully selecting the chocolates for your gift. Make up your own boxes, and personalise them as you wish.
Ideally located near the Opéra Garnier and the department stores on Boulevard Haussmann, Printemps and Galeries Lafayette, the Lindt store is also strategically positioned right in front of the Roissybus stop, perfect for your last few purchases before you set off for Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle airport.
Iconic chocolates
The unique taste of Lindt chocolate is the result of careful research and an unquestionable sense of good taste. The cocoa beans are rigorously selected from the best regions of the world and produce a high quality chocolate. “From bean to bar” is the motto of the brand, which makes a point of building its own sustainable cocoa bean supply chain. Product control from creation to the last bite for the finest chocolate.
Who today is not familiar with the iconic Lindt GOLD RABBIT? Created by one of the company’s master chocolatiers, who simply wanted to please his daughter, it quickly became a must-have for Easter. This chocolate bunny, wrapped in shiny gold foil, with a little red ribbon and a bell around its neck, signifies to all chocolate lovers that spring is here, with all the pleasures it brings.
Lindt, a family history
It was in 1879 that Lindt became a well-known chocolate manufacturer in Switzerland. 20 years later, the Sprüngli family, owners of a chocolate factory, met the Lindt family. Rodolphe Lindt’s creamy chocolate became a sensation, and Johann Rudolf Sprüngli’s production factory grew rapidly. It was thanks to these two names that Switzerland quickly became the land of chocolate, among other things! Faced with such enthusiasm, the Lindt family could not keep up with demand and the Sprüngli family offered to take over the company. It was therefore in a spirit of partnership that the company we know grew and developed.
Today, all over the world, the story of Lindt & Sprüngli chocolate is one of passion, quality and wonder for your taste buds and your eyes. Now established in more than 120 countries, with manufacturing facilities in Europe and the United States, the two small Swiss manufacturers have made the big time!
