Description
Les bricoles de Nicole is, above all, the brainchild of Tiffany, a former restaurant manager, who one day decided to make the move into a job full of meaning and values. She opened her store in Vaires-sur-Marne in 2019, calling it “Les bricoles de Nicole” in a homage to her grandmother, an inspiring dressmaker.
Her credo? To offer a selection of textile products, mainly upcycled from existing raw materials, in a zero-waste store, with environmentally friendly, handmade products to replace disposable everyday items.
Behind an elegant wooden shopfront, the store comprises two spaces, divided by a clothes rail. The first space celebrates eco-friendly products and local craftspeople. It includes wooden speakers, cork rucksacks, and accessories for men, women and children.
The second space is reserved for Tiffany’s own production. There, laid out on light wood shelving, you will find everyday objects such as reusable kitchen roll and toilet paper, soluble shampoo, candles and clothes.
However, the star product remains the makeup removal pads, a product women use every day, with one side made of recycled fabric and the other of organic cotton wool made by a local producer.
A must-visit for anyone interested in the environment and responsible consumption.
