Description
Before plunging into the aisles of the biggest antique and decorative arts market in the world, you’ll need to get your strength up: the Paul Bert Serpette market is an Aladdin’s cave of rare antiques, and home to no less than 400 stores. Le Paul Bert has been a highlight of trips to the Marché aux Puces de Saint-Ouen flea market for that very reason since 1958: it’s a must for any bargain hunter!
The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with the chef serving up traditional French dishes cooked with fresh, seasonal ingredients. From a pork and cabbage hotpot to top-quality andouillette sausages and house-made mash, the quality is plain to see on the plate – and the price is easy to swallow too!
For a well-deserved drink or a quick bite to eat, there’s nowhere better than the terrace. You’ll get to enjoy all the buzz of the market with a specially selected glass of wine in hand. A tasty time-out in a local institution!
