Description
With its stone walls and exposed beams, its vaulted cellar and its array of enamelled signs from the early 1900s to the 1950s, Le Manège has a retro bistro feel about it. A must on any trip to St Germain-en-Laye, close to the castle, this restaurant offers tasty homemade French cuisine.
It received the “Maître-restaurateur” prize, a government award recognising traditional restaurants for their excellent quality of service, welcome and hygiene.
In a friendly setting, indulge yourself with a Lyon-style pistachio sausage roll for starters, before tucking in to an equally tasty main course, such as the Charolais sirloin steak with morels or the sea bass with vanilla sauce. Round things off with an unbeatable chocolate cake or floating island, sure to delight any sweet tooth.
