Description
Behind the majestic façade of the Petit Palais , discover a true haven of peace.
Located in the heart of the museum, the garden is organised around three pools, paved with blue and gold mosaics created by the Giandomenico Facchina workshop for the opening of the museum in 1900.
A café-restaurant in a secret garden
The sight of palm trees, banana trees, exotic plants and other grasses offers you a disorienting journey to the heart of Paris. The garden's vegetation changes with the seasons and conceals a café-restaurant, and sometimes contemporary artworks according to exhibitions and events such as la Nuit Blanche. Peace and serenity emanate from this secret garden located just a few steps from the Champs-Elysées avenue and the Arc de triomphe.
In the shade of the columns, tables and chairs are laid out to enjoy a seasonal lunch or a gourmet snack. A pleasant stopover during your visit to the museum. The café-restaurant terrace "Le Jardin du Petit Palais " offers a bistronomic menu prepared by the chef Amandine Chaignot**.
This renowned Parisian chef has worked in numerous palaces, such as the Plaza Athénée or the Raphael, before opening her own restaurant in Paris. She delights and charms all the gourmets who come to sit down. With a menu full of freshness and dishes prepared with seasonal produce, she will surprise you again at the Jardin du Petit Palais!
