Description

History has always been made through songs. This is the belief that led to the establishment of Le Hall de la Chanson, in Parc de la Villette, between the Grande Halle and the canal, with the sole aim of continuing the legacy and introducing as many people as possible to the richness of the French, Francophone and European repertoire, of all periods and styles. Serving as both a school and a concert venue for 140 people, it hosts courses, conferences, dances, concerts, shows, artists' residences, etc. The venue hosts a youth programme and regular events, as well as festivals and tributes to the greatest names in song.

Music to dine to!

And because music and food also make an excellent pairing, pay a visit to the Café Bœuf, a joyful cabaret-restaurant named after the former bistro of the La Villette butchers that once occupied the site. The chef's culinary creations made with organic and local produce are the perfect accompaniment to the vocal performances of the young actors/performers and musicians/arrangers from Le Hall de la Chanson which you can enjoy as you dine!
