Description
A socially committed establishment featuring a decor specially imported from Africa, the Comptoir Général, near the Canal Saint-Martin is a happy combination of plants, cast-off items, a music store, a book library and a bar, where you can enjoy cocktails, a restaurant offering exotic flavours and even a witchcraft workshop… you’ll simply love the luxuriant vegetation of its interior garden.
Housed in a former 600m² stable, the Comptoir Général is an unusual establishment featuring African influences where you can come across interesting curios including stuffed animals or witchcraft-related items. A genuine Ali Baba’s Cave! You can also discover the pirate ship housing the cocktail bar and the tropical garden under the glass canopy which lets in the sunlight. During the evening, treat yourself to a glass of punch while sampling world cuisine. Comfortably seated in mismatched armchairs and sofas, along with your friends you can enjoy concerts in an intimate setting or DJ evenings, where the wild rhythms will get you moving.
The kids’ Comptoir Général
Enjoy a family brunch every Sunday with all-you-can-eat buffet and activities/entertainment for kids. Relax and unwind while they enjoy the games workshops or reading sessions.
