Le 153
Description
Located among the lively Parisian terraces of the Beaubourg district, a few steps from the Centre Pompidou, Le 153 stands out for its innovative concept. Based at 153 rue Saint-Martin, in a former art gallery, the bar proposes three different areas in a stylish, cosy atmosphere with a delightful designer touch. On the ground floor, the Cantine is the perfect place to spend a moment among friends enjoying some delicious dishes and mouthwatering tapas, in an industrial décor, at midday and in the evenings. Upstairs, we find a change of décor with a cocktail bar and its delicious creations, featuring a Roaring Twenties speakeasy atmosphere.
And the more inquisitive among you will certainly want to visit the basement and discover the superb vaulted cellar where the photographs and paintings on display make this a genuine art gallery, a reminder of the building’s original purpose. The establishment hosts many cultural events, exhibitions, themed tasting sessions or workshops where you can learn about mixology and discover perfumes and spices.
