- Lantern Festival: the dinosaur ball
Description
In the Bois de Boulogne, the end of the year promises to be sparkling. An exceptional event will be taking place in the Jardin d'Acclimatation, until 2 March 2025: the Lantern Festival. This illuminated walk comes to life after dark, featuring impressive dinosaurs and poetic lanterns.
An exceptional illuminated route
Over an area of 6 hectares, you'll be able to admire 100 life-size dinosaurs, including tyrannosaurs, velociraptors and triceratops, surrounded by 2,000 lanterns. Every evening from 6pm to 10pm, except Mondays and Tuesdays when school is not in session, the Jardin d'Acclimatation invites you on an unforgettable night-time stroll.
A cultural and entertaining experience
The Lantern Festival is not just a visual exhibition, but also a cultural immersion. Inspired by the famous Shanghai festival, this event also features Chinese craft workshops, demonstrations of folk dances, and tastings of Asian cuisine.
