Description

Perhaps our grandmothers’ recipes are still the best… Like the general stores of yesteryear, La Trésorerie – which takes its name from its location on the site of an old tax office – is full of gems for your home. Crockery, table accessories, kitchen utensils, linen, cleaning products… The product range is not just exhaustive, but responsible, valuing production methods that respect the planet and the traditional economy.

The origins of each product are traced to ensure compliance with a stringent suppliers’ charter. Ninety percent of suppliers are Europe-based (or use local know-how and fair methods), and all use renewable or recyclable raw materials (wood, linen, glass, steel or terracotta, rather than synthetic fabrics and plastics!). The store has proved so successful that it recently expanded to a second address, just opposite at number 8. The new annex is called La Suite and specialises in interior decoration (furniture, lighting, ornaments).

The spirit of the age is very much in evidence here!
