La Place

Back in the 1980's, Les Halles district was already the nerve centre of Parisian street culture. Set beneathLa Canopée, this cultural centre is a real laboratory of new practices and a place for experimentation open to all. Its main function? Giving music, dance and urban arts the place they deserve.

Its rich and diverse programme delights fans of rap, beatbox, graffiti as well as hiphop dancing. While its bar area gives the venue its social aspect, the concerts, conferences, exhibitions, dance battles, workshops, shows, projections and master classes held in this 1,400m² space help to promote urban cultures.
