Description
Who has not dreamed of sporting a Jérôme Dreyfuss bag on their shoulder? They are known for their elegant lines, generous sizes, soft leather — velvety calfskin, lamb, goat and reptile — and their innovative details, such as multiple shoulder straps, detachable pockets, snap hook keyrings and even a mini flashlight.
In just a few years Jérôme Dreyfuss has taken the fashion world by storm. After a first women’s collection called “*Couture à Porter,*” he decided to devote himself to leather goods in 2002. Today, some of his pieces have become cult items, like the “Billy”, a large, slouch shoulder bag that comes in multiple colours and materials selected with the utmost care.
Vintage chic
The two boutiques on Rue Jacob offer the widest selection from the designer’s collection in Paris, as well as exclusive pieces. The boutique at number 4 showcases men’s and women’s bags, of course, but also accessories: wallets, key rings, pouches. Over the road at number 1, you’ll now find the shoe collections.
The interior design is inspired by the 1950s, with furniture by some prestigious designers like Charles Eames, Jean Prouvé and Charlotte Perriand. The displays, meanwhile, are influenced by the shop windows created by Pierre Jeanneret in Chandigarh, India. Perfect for shopping in style.
