- Guided visit of the Molitor's pool cubicles
Description
Listed as a Historic Monument, this swimming pool that saw the birth of the bikini was the temple of Parisian underground during the 90's before becoming an ultra chic hotel designed by Jean-Philippe Nuel. Today, urban culture is a firm part of Molitor's DNA. The iconic changing cabins of the winter pool have been turned into real works of art! Around 80 cabins have been painted by 70 artists giving a preview of their creations. Kashink, Jace, Mademoiselle Maurice and Marko93 were given carte blanche to take up the challenge of making the surroundings of this 5-star hotel's pool a fully fledged urban art gallery.
You can visit to your heart's content on Wednesday as well as Saturday ! Whether you opt for the guided tour to learn more about street culture or the open visit, to access this exceptional setting where urban art acquires a high reputation, booking in advance is a must. In good weather, without being a guest of the hotel, you can then visit Molitor's roof terrace and sip one of their signature cocktails with a view over the outdoor pool. Isn't life beautiful?
