Description

Grévin invites you to spend a Night at the Museum! Every first Saturday of the month (except December), the Grévin museum and its wax statues come alive at night for a visit like no other. Stroll through the museum's galleries and meet the figures of the past and present. Musicians and actors accompany you on your discovery.

The red, gilded entrance near the charming Passage Jouffroy, on the Grands Boulevards, is hard not to notice. As you enter the plush interior, Jean-Paul Sartre, Madonna and Picasso, make their appearances, just as lifelike as ever. Monica Bellucci, Brad Pitt, Cara Delevingne, Inès de la Fressange, Charlie Chaplin, Pierre Hermé, Pierre Gagnaire… Over 200 French and foreign celebrities, both contemporary and historic, preside over this museum. There’s no shortage of selfie material here!

Astonishing Architecture

The space is a jewel in itself. A majestic, marble staircase leads to the Palais des Mirages (Hall of Mirrors), an attraction built to create optical illusions originally presented at the Exposition Universelle of 1900. The Hall of Columns, with its rosewood walls, marble and gilded sculptures, is a stupefying display of baroque style. Lastly, enter a sublime Italian theatre with a haut-relief by Antoine Bourdelle, where you’ll also find Charles Aznavour settled on a red velvet armchair, just waiting for you to come sit beside him…

Every weekend, 90 minute guided tours are organised for children. Dressed up in a costume, your child will be taken through the museum by a star, before taking part in a discovery workshop that teaches everything there is to know about wax sculptures.

Children will also love our exhibitions to discover in family in Paris Region.
