Description
A putting green in the shape of Mickey Mouse’s ears? There’s no doubt about it, you must be at Golf Disneyland Paris! At only 35 minutes from Paris by the RER A, this 86-hectare course, which opened in 1992, offers an unexpected immersion into the world of Disney.
The veteran American architect Ronald Fream – who has created more than 100 golf courses worldwide – let his creativity run riot for these three 9-by-36-hole courses, which can be combined to create three additional 18-hole rounds. Lovers of “Target Golf” will be delighted!
A course for all the family
Everything here is aimed at spicing up your golfing experience and ensuring a satisfyingly challenging game: from the numerous bunkers on the red course to the water features on the blue course – not to mention the double fairways, tricky doglegs, island greens, water features and stretches of sand that punctuate the circuit. Keeping children centre stage, the Mickey Mouse putting green offers young golf stars in the making a fun chance to perfect their swing.
All the family will enjoy the surprising club house, shaped like a giant golf ball with its spherical roof. Meanwhile, the panoramic restaurant overlooking the golf course should also please all ages. To make the magic last longer, you can treat yourself to a night at the sumptuous Hotel Radisson Blu****, set just beside the course.
