Description

Created as an audiovisual history of Paris, the Forum des images celebrates cinema of all kinds and the moving image in all its forms. Fictions, documentaries, animations, short and feature-length films, TV series, films on computers…: all genres, all formats, and all audiovisual disciplines are represented in this unique space at the heart of Paris, right next to the Canopée des Halles and the Centre Pompidou.

A rich and eclectic programme

The film cycles offer a new and original (re)interpretation of major social issues through dialogues between highly varied works, from arthouse movies to the popular cinema of today and yesteryear. Each year, the Forum des images stages around ten festivals, open to all, showcasing contemporary cinema. It also holds animation- and documentary-themed events. And little ones will not feel left out, thanks to the specific programme of events for kids aged 18 months and over!
