Flow

A few steps from Les Invalides, a barge unlike any other livens up the banks of the Seine with generous helpings of music, cocktails, and a friendly atmosphere.

Description

When it comes to views, you can’t do much better: the **Pont Alexandre III and the Seine, with the Eiffel Tower soaring up behind… The custom built boat, 40 m long and 14 m wide, and docked at the Invalides port, has quickly become a figurehead of the new scene bustling along the recently pedestrianized riverbanks.

Music and Dance on the Seine

Inside the futuristic shell of glass and brass hides an intimate concert hall. Three hundred seats (the double for standing room) are arranged in a plush, acoustic cocoon, where Katerine, Miossec and Nouvelle Vague have all performed. On weekends the beat continues after the concert, as the space switches into club mode led by hip electro collectives until 6am.

The Fruits of the Earth

Le Flow also has your taste buds in mind. On the upper deck a chic restaurant seems to float over the water, with incredible views across to the Grand Palais. If you prefer a drink with friends, head for the “roof top”, also serving platters and salads to share. Open when weather permits, “La Plage” or The Beach, extends on to the riverbanks. Later, the restaurant transforms into a night bar for lovers of cocktails and mellow DJ sets.
