Emmanuelle Zysman

“I have always been fascinated by all things gypsy. As a child, I was convinced that I was a little Bohemian (…) and I liked to sprinkle my clothes with touches that seemed to me as if they came straight from Time of the Gypsies.” This, according to Zysman, was what sparked her passion for jewellery. Since 2004, she has been a prolific creative force, well known to Parisian fashionistas.

Her luxurious hand-crafted pieces take their inspiration from dreams of Bohemia. Her rings, bracelets and pendants are like talismans, set with stones worthy of a treasure chest. Jet-black agate, shimmering turquoise, blood-red garnet, iridescent hypnotic-blue labradorite… All of them made entirely in her Paris workshop, where gold, silver and silver-gilt are painstakingly chiseled, scratched, stamped and adorned: “I love torturing the metal to recreate the used appearance of archaeological finds (…): that’s what gives jewellery a soul.” These creations, which seem to have had several lives already, tell a thousand and one stories…
