Description
Riding high on the success of his first store, which opened in Turin in 2007, Oscar Farinetti decided it was time to take his top-quality products further afield and introduce the whole world to the incomparable flavours of Italy. After having conquered the USA, Japan, Brazil and Dubai, now it’s France and Paris’ turn to experience Eataly!
In the Marais district, not far from the BHV Marais, the 4,000m² store will house a market-style set up with no less than 5,000 items on sale, seven different eateries, a wine cellar to make your mouth water, and even a cooking school downstairs. Open seven days a week for lunch, dinner, drinks, snacks, or simply some shopping, Eataly has already made its name as the Mecca for Italian cuisine in Paris!
The food there is simple and effective, using excellent ingredients which are celebrated by in-house chefs. Everything here sings of la dolce vita, from the hams hanging from the ceiling, the fresh, multi-coloured pasta, the gigantic pizza ovens and the aroma of basil, olives and wonderfully ripe tomatoes. It’s a treat for all the senses!
