Description

So where will you spend those summer evenings this year? No idea? Roll out Plan C! As in ** Cargo Container Bar**. This guinguette-type open-air bar on the banks of the river Seine opens only during the summer, from May onwards.

A club bar under the Parisian night sky

Head for the Bercy quayside. Here, just above the Seine, the Cargo Container Bar invites Parisians to stay cool and enjoy the feel-good vibe. The terrace planted with vegetation offers a superb view of the Bibliothèque nationale de France just opposite.

As the name suggests, the Cargo Container Bar is indeed a bar and therefore closes at 2 o’clock in the morning. But that’s no excuse to relax on the sofa until the early hours. Part of the bar area doubles up as a dance floor to host concerts and open-air DJ sets throughout the season. When the sun refuses to shine down on Paris, our hearts are warmed by the summer vibe of house, disco, funk and other musical genres.

As for the food, the Cargo Container Bar works hand in hand with Lovine’s. The choice is simple: pizza or pizza. Good, authentic, straightforward pizza made, above all, for sharing.

A programme that hits the spot

The Cargo Container Bar has a packed programme for the whole season. Which gives you the perfect excuse to go along every evening.
Wednesday is “Cruising Speed” night. The house vibes make your week more enjoyable and give you the strength to survive until the weekend.
On Thursdays its “High Tide”. Tap your feet to the very best on the Parisian electro scene.
Friday brings the calm before the storm. “It’s all good” is the title of this gentle start to the weekend, again to the undulating beat of house music.
Saturday is a weekly remake of Saturday Night Fever. But you don’t have to dance like Travolta to enjoy “Disc’o Cargo” night. Like it or not, you'll soon be moving to the groove!
Last but not least, “Sunday Bay” is the best remedy out there for those Sunday evening blues. So go along for a cocktail and chill evening that should make you feel relaxed for Monday morning. To be enjoyed in moderation if you don’t want a headache!
