Description
Located on rue Poissonnière in the buzzing Le Sentier sector, nestled between trendy restaurants and designer stores, Cabinet Mode Thérapie is the latest address being shared by fashionistas in the know.
The window dressing says it all: owner Barbara Colas is an advocate of eclecticism, as her selection proudly proclaims.
At the entrance, an array of Japanese-inspired tableware is showcased on a huge wooden table among candles and attractive kitchen gadgets.
The shelves are bedecked with trinkets and ornaments, some in a vintage style and others more contemporary, but all selected with impeccable taste. And there’s something to suit every budget.
There is a delightful hotch-potch jewellery display with rock bracelets at €20, medallion necklaces at €30 and rings at €18 – tempted to treat yourself without breaking the bank?
And then there are the fashion collections with a decidedly vintage slant: myriad ‘60s and ‘70s crêpe or silk blouses, not to mention the “overalls” and jackets for €49. We especially love the new version of the petrol-blue “workwear” jumpsuit at €99.
If fashion is therapy, this is the clinic for you!
