Description

In Nanterre, a stone's throw from the business district of La Défense, recharge your batteries at Parc André Malraux. This curved space is an invitation to relax for some and to play sports for others.

A real "green lung" in Nanterre, the André Malraux departmental park has an air of Central Park about it. Whether you are alone, with your partner, friends or family, you are sure to be won over by this 25-hectare departmental park just a stone's throw from the La Défense business district!

Built in the 1970s from the earthworks of the nearby La Défense district, this park is an invitation to take a walk. In addition to its hills and large expanses of lawn, take advantage of its lake and its botanical garden to relax, all with a clear view of La Défense.

Sports enthusiasts can vary their pleasures by practising climbing (currently in maintenance), fishing, jogging or street working.

Children are not left out with a traditional games area and a merry-go-round which are open all year round. In summer, there is also a water play area** specially reserved for them!

To complete your day, you are invited to discover the park's surroundings thanks to the "Parc André Malraux : les incontournables" and "Terrasses de l'Arche : les incontournables" tours available at the Nanterre Tourist Office.
