Description

"Moose is the English name for elk. Or rather moose, as they are known in Canada. This large deer is one of the emblematic animals of the land of the maple leaf. The ideal totem animal for this Canadian bar-restaurant in the heart of Paris.

Shoot yourself a log ("installez-vous" in Quebecois)

It's a corner of the New World in the Latin Quarter, close to the Luxembourg Gardens. The Moose, with its bricks and logs, takes you out of Paris and into Canada for an evening.

The Moose also has 14 screens all along the bar**. You're sure not to miss a thing of the sport competition! You'll be able to watch matches from all the North American sports divisions. How well do you know all your acronyms? There's the NFL for American football, the NBA for basketball and the NHL for hockey.

The Moose's menu is 100% North American cuisine. But also very American bagels, wraps and chicken wings. Every week, the restaurant takes part in the tradition of Taco Tuesday. And let's not forget the famous poutine, a Quebec speciality made with chips, cheese curds and brown gravy. Meat or vegetarian versions to suit all tastes.

The Atlantic crossing doesn't stop with the dishes. The bières du comptoir take you on a long journey around Anglo-Saxon territory. The American beers Brooklyn Lager and Samuel Adams, the Irish Guinness and the British Gamma Ray are all part of the taste journey, before returning to France for a Kerisac from Brittany or an Œil de biche from Paris. There's plenty to come back and try!

Continue the journey by visiting the Paris Region bars.
