Description
The Paris International Agricultural Show (or SIA to its friends) is an annual opportunity for Parisians to discover the very best of French expertise. With livestock farming, farm produce and local products, it’s a chance for the countryside to visit the city.
2024 edition of the SIA
This year we're celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Salon International de l'Agriculture. Join us from Saturday 24 February to Sunday 3 March 2024 at the Parc des Expositions at Porte de Versailles, to celebrate the biggest event in France! Sixty years of meetings and exchanges. Sixty years of service to the world of agriculture. Sixty years in the hearts of the French. The Salon International de l'Agriculture is preparing an unforgettable event, a tribute to its history but also and above all turned towards the future and innovation: To discover new horizons. To preserve our environment and our food. To celebrate what's good. To take the time to experience the intense. Celebrating 60 years!
In addition to the brand new events planned around the sixtieth anniversary, the Salon International de l'Agriculture is strengthening its professional component with the creation of SIA'PRO: 100% professional meetings over three days, reserved for actors in the agricultural world. This new annual event will feature exhibition areas and discussion forums, with a focus on social issues.
The Show's mascot
With her three-coloured coat and well-designed glasses, Oreillette is the ideal ambassador of the Normande breed, which will be in the spotlight at the Salon International de l'Agriculture 2024. Oreillette is 5 years old and lives in the heart of Normandy's meadows. The milk she produces, along with her 110 other cows, is delivered to a dairy to be processed into camembert and Pont-l'Évêque AOP. The muse of the Show, a calm mother of three calves and recently decorated at the concours National Normand 2023, will be taking a break for visitors in pavilion 1.
