Description

In 2010, Mathilde and Gautier Jourdain founded Galerie Mathgoth right in the heart of the open-air museum that makes up the 13th arrondissement of Paris. These two passionate collectors of urban art have rubbed shoulders with the biggest names in street art during their careers, running projects to produce enormous frescoes all over France (Paris, Marseille, Nancy…) and organising urban art exhibitions for the Museum of Fine Arts in Calais.

For almost ten years their gallery has hosted exceptional events in an urban and unusual setting. Artists such as Jef Aérosol, Jace, Herakut and Bordalo II exhibit their work there for the enjoyment of urban culture fans.

Right in the heart of the 13th arrondissement of Paris and not far from Galerie Itinerrance, the GCA Gallery and Lavo//Matik, Galerie Mathgoth has become a key medium of street art in Paris Region. It thus responds to three priorities: helping and supporting artists, showcasing and discovering and, finally, giving visitors the desire and means to collect pieces.
