Itinerrance Gallery
Description
Galerie Itinerrance opened in 2014 near Les Frigos in the 13th arrondissement, the favourite Parisian stomping ground for street artists. Set in the brand new Bibliothèque nationale de France district, it forms, together with the GCA Gallery and Galerie Mathgoth, the Parisian Bermuda Triangle where fans of urban culture will find no end of enjoyment! They form part of an area undergoing rapid cultural expansion, today known as Paris’ open-air urban art museum.
Every year Galerie Itinerrance runs a programme which puts it on the level of the leading figures on the urban art scene in Paris Region. By undertaking projects beyond its walls such as Street Art 13 and Stream, it helps to embellish urban spaces with pieces by world famous street artists. Seth, Pantonio, Inti, D*Face and Ethos have been recruited here to paint frescoes on the buildings that line Boulevard Vincent Auriol and along the banks of the Seine. Inside the gallery, monographic exhibitions stand alongside artistic installations giving visitors an immersive experience, developing the world of artworks and paying tribute to young fledglings and established urban artists alike.
