Description
Behind the Centre National de la Danse, 10 minutes’ walk from the Thaddaeus Ropac contemporary art gallery, discover Les Pantins, the restaurant of Antonin Vachon, Walid Sahed and Guillaume Maugain.
The luminous globes, peacock-blue bench seats and brass bar combine to give a stylish industrial feel to this eatery, where locals and visitors alike can indulge their palates. The menu includes traditional French classics such as calf’s head and fish soup with rouille, as well as dishes inspired by the owners’ travels, such as grilled hake on a bed of quinoa and wild black rice, and cuttlefish with ginger and pan-fried radishes. All accompanied by a wonderful selection of natural wines to complement whatever dish you choose.
The dessert menu keeps up the high standards, with a creamy panna cotta infused with tonka beans, and caramelised pineapple in rum.
On top of all that, there is a roomy terrace on which to sip a drink and savour a bite to eat on sunny days. A contemporary bistro that lives up to its billing!
